It’s a little earlier than we would have liked but the maples are tapped with the help from our 4 legged friends. 40 Taps are out… with a few more spiles and buckets still to go. We aren’t positive the sap will flow this week but we might as well be ready if it does.
Also, we opened our Grumpy Goat Virtual Market for orders this week! The market will accept orders from Tuesday evening through Sunday evening with orders being ready for pick up Tuesdays at the farm from 4-6pm. (Please note that these are the winter hours…come May the order window and pick up times will change). Right now we have fresh baked bread, goat milk soap, lip balm, jams and jellies, birdhouses, honey, and maple syrup available.
