2024 Pygora Goat Kids

All kids will have their CDT shots administered and will be pre-registered with the Pygora Breeders Association.
Doelings $450, Bucklings $500, Wethers $250

There is a $25 discount when taking two or more as we like to see them go with a friend. If you do not already have goats on your property you will need at least two.

Goats are not reserved until we receive a $50 non refundable deposit (cash, card, check, Paypal, and Venmo accepted).

Wethers will be banded at 8-10 weeks of age unless alternative arrangements have been made.

Kids will not be disbudded unless details are worked out with us in advance. All Vet fees incurred for disbudding will be the responsibility of the buyer.

Kids will be weaned at 12 weeks of age. If they are not picked up by 14 weeks of age we will charge a small weekly housing fee ($10) up to 16 weeks of age. If they are not picked up by 16 weeks of age we will relist them for sale. (If you are picking up multiple goats we will go by the weaning date of the youngest one so you can get them all together)

Additional veterinarian health certificate fees apply for transport across state lines.

Prices subject to change.

2024 Kids:

Grumpy Goat Hans Peashade (24-24W)

SOLD

Wether

b:3/29/2024 - twin

Dam: Gun Plain Pygoras Sweet Pea

Sire: Bohemian Creek Farm Nightshade

This guy is very friendly and has great conformation. His dam has type A fleece, sire has type B - I would anticipate type B fleece with some curl though you can never be sure until it comes in.

Grumpy Goat Franz Peashade (24-23W)

Wether

b:3/29/2024 - twin

Dam: Gun Plain Pygoras Sweet Pea

Sire: Bohemian Creek Farm Nightshade

Franz is a very friendly wether with gorgeous type B fiber coming in. His first kid coat was lacking in the shoulders but his second winter coat is coming in full coverage. He will be a great fiber producer just like his mom (who consistently produces the highest wt fleece for us each shearing).

Sire: Bohemian Creek Farm Nightshade

Grumpy Goat King George (being retained on farm)

Buck

b:4/5/2024 - single

Dam: Grumpy Goat Frankie Mittens

Sire: Hawks Mountain Ranch Legacy

This little guy is going to, at least temporarily, be retained on the farm. He is friendly but not overly so. Frankie and Legacy both have type B fibers with some A characteristics.

Dam: Frankie Mittens 21-49F

Sire: Hawks Mountain Ranch Legacy

Grumpy Goat Saint Simon (24-19M)

Sold

Buck (disbudded)

b:3/13/2024 - Triplets

Dam: Enchanted Acres Poke ‘0’ Moonshine

Sire: Gun Plain Pygoras Jet

Friendly, but not overly so. Definitely a mama’s boy. Great conformation and will make a nice herdsire.Their dam and sires,Poke and Jet, both have type B fleeces

Grumpy Goat Mildred Moonshine (24-40F)

b: 3/13/2024 - Triplet

Dam: Enchanted Acres Poke ‘0’ Moonshine

Sire: Gun Plain Pygoras Jet

This girl is the friendliest and is besties with Wether Franz Peashade. She can be a little loud - which I am hoping that she grows out of! But if you want a super outgoing friendly girl she is your gal. Her first coat was a type B fleece with nice consistency and coverage. Her winter coat is, so far, growing in very fuzzy with less curl. Their dam and sire,Poke and Jet, both have type B fleeces

Grumpy Goat Maeve Moonshine (24-39F)

SOLD

b: 3/13/2024 - Triplet

Dam: Enchanted Acres Poke ‘0’ Moonshine

Sire: Gun Plain Pygoras Jet

She is the smallest of the triplets and has been getting a supplemental bottle twice a day to make sure she is growing at the same rate as her siblings, which means she is very friendly and runs over when we come it. Super cute with her large erect ears, and even though she is a tad smaller definitely has no problem holding her own. Their dam and sires,Poke and Jet, both have type B fleeces

Dam: Enchanted Acres Poke o Moonshine

Sire: Gun Plain Pygoras Jet

Grumpy Goat Latte (24-37F)

b: 4/9/2024 - Twins

Dam: Grumpy Goat Luta

Sire: Gun Plain Pygoras Jet

Latte is a little shyer than some of the other kids. I love how dark her fiber is staying. Her first coat was between a type B and C - a little shorter and less consistent than her twin Marianas. I am excited to see what her second coat brings as it looks nice and full with curl and luster. Their Dam, Luta, has type B fleece with type C characteristics, while their sire, Jet is a solid type B.

Grumpy Goat Mariana (24-38F)

b: 4/9/2024 - Twins

Dam: Grumpy Goat Luta

Sire: Gun Plain Pygoras Jet

Mariana is a sweet goat, friendlier than her sister Latte with lighter brown fiber. Her first coat came in nice and full with type B Brown fiber (with some type C characteristics). Her new coat seems to be coming in with a bit more curl than her first. Their Dam, Luta, has type B fleece with type C characteristics, while their sire, Jet, is a solid type B.

Grumpy Goat plum Puddin’ (24-87F)

b: 6/14/2024 (twins)

Dam: Grumpy Goat Puddin’

Sire: Hawks Mountain Ranch Legacy

Plum is small in stature (though she is also the youngest of this years doelings so she has a few months to catch up to everyone). She is a little shy but will probably warm up fast ina smaller flock/home that has more time to devote to pampering her! Her first coat appears to be a Type B with C characteristics - long and soft but straighter in structure. She hasn’t actually been shorn this year because her late birth threw off my shearing schedule and now I think her and her brother will just keep their coats on until spring.

Grumpy Goat Figgy Puddin’ (24-49M)

b:6/14/2024 (twins)

Dam: Grumpy Goat Puddin’

Sire: Hawks Mountain Ranch Legacy

Figgy is a fluffball - and like his sister is so far staying small and compact. He is currently with the bucks but I am starting to lean towards wethering him. His coat came in nice and full with good length. Like his sister it looks to be a Type B fiber with some C characteristics. It will be interesting to see how his winter growth changes.
